February 10th Meeting & Cruise
Sunshine and moderate temperatures greeted us at the Cookie Jar Restaurant as CGBRM members gathered for lunch and a cruise. Again, we had a wonderful attendance with several new Corvettes making their debut in the club. After lunch we cruised to Franklin, NC as John Binkley (lives in Franklin) led us into the parking lot of the Whistlestop Antique Mall in his '93 Red Roadster. After shopping and enjoying ice cream John led the cruise down Hwy. 441S to visit the Roomful Of Nuts business owned by John & Susan Lamb - proud owners of a beautiful white C4. John and Susan Lamb were gracious hosts and John drove to Clayton, GA with us as Jeremy Clough led the Group back to Young Harris, GA.
Several items were discussed during the lunch meeting.
1) A page will be added to the CGBRM website soon with instructions on how to purchase nametags and get the mountain logo embroaderied on your shirts, caps, etc.
2) Members were encouraged to participate in the June 23rd 3rd Annual TOP OF GEORGIA All Corvette Show.
3) Mike Simpson, CGBRM member and parts manager at John Megel Chevrolet, has invited the Group to visit John Megel Chevrolet on Saturday, May 12th, for a breakfast and Corvette Tech Session. Details are posted on the 2007 Meeting Page.
