March 10th Meeting Eleven Corvettes graced the parking lot as CGBRM members enjoyed socializing and a wonderful lunch at the Cookie Jar Restaurant. Eight of the Corvettes went on the afternoon cruise. We were joined my new member Randy Bielefeldt who met with members before we began our cruise. We enjoyed great weather on our cruise first stopping in Blue Ridge at Mercier's Apple Orchard. This is a very interesting place to visit and shop for all types of items including tasty apple fritters, juice, donuts, and a host of other apple treats with some great tasting coffee. We left Mercier's Orchard and traveled through McCaysville on our way to the Ocoee Whitewater Center which served at the rafting and whitewater venue for the 1996 Olympics. The Center is a great place to visit and hike their paved trails and wade in the low water areas.
